CHEWING TOBACCO CAUSES CANCER AND OTHER HEALTH ISSUES, TOO
Smokeless tobacco contains 28 cancer-causing agents and are linked to mouth, tongue, cheek and gum cancers. Cancers of the esophagus and pancreas can also be caused by using smokeless tobacco. Chew or dip users have high rates of leukoplakia in the mouth. Leukoplakia is a gray-white patch in the mouth that can become cancer. Other health issues include heart disease, increased risk of heart attack and stroke, and increased risk of early delivery and stillbirth when used during pregnancy.
